Sad accident has happened. Nobody was injured.
The keel fin was broken off the keel base, due to material (steel) failure or welding failure. The whole keel structure is bought from an external supplier, but Code Yachts is the manufacturer of CODE8, so the responsibilty is ours. The details are under investigation. We will check all the other boats to avoid same kind of accidents.
